Vegetarianism and Brexit for Breakfast
Professionals from local SMEs and voluntary groups had an entertaining and informative start to their working day at the CBR Business Solution’s Breakfast Seminar last Friday (November 8) hearing about the latest in employment law from Dan Chapman of Leathes Prior. With his extensive knowledge and experience in Employment Law, primarily acting for employers, Dan discussed why Vegetarianism is not a Protected Characteristic but Veganism might be and also the implications of the government’s forthcoming Good Work Plan.
The seminar also included an introduction to Neurodiversity in the Workplace, presented by Cindee Crehan, Deputy CEO of Voluntary Norfolk, and an update on Pension Re-enrolment from CBR’s Payroll Manager Nigel Stapleton.
