MAP is a charity providing free and independent advice, counselling, youth work and education for young people.

Join MAP in supporting young people across Norfolk

At MAP, we are advisers, counsellors, youth workers and other professionals working together to provide the best support we can to young people aged 11-25, in a way that works for them.

At MAP we work for social justice. We are an inclusive workplace, welcoming everybody to bring their authentic whole selves to work every day. Upholding equality at MAP is not only about eliminating discrimination; it is about actively recognising and valuing difference; making the most of everyone’s potential.

We are looking for a Youth Worker to join a highly motivated team to provide opportunities to young people to facilitate their personal and social development. You will develop and deliver a programme of activities which may include one-to-one support and group work. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting the interests of vulnerable young people, facilitating participation opportunities and creating inclusive environments.

As a youth worker, you can expect to work on a range of projects at different times. You will likely contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects in a range of locations as our team delivers a new strategic plan, establishing an equitable set of youth work services across Norfolk. You will need to be able and willing to travel to involve and engage young people.

If you have any questions about the role please contact Harriet Riley, Senior Youth Worker, at
