Who we are:
Established in 2007, LGBTQ+ Project is the county’s only dedicated LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing service provider, providing early intervention and prevention support, services, and information to all age groups so we can help empower individuals to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and to reduce social isolation of LGBTQ+ individuals living in Norfolk and Waveney.
About the role:
Provide online and face to face support to male to female trans individuals, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals of all ages, as well as those questioning their gender identity.
Main Areas of Responsibility and Delivery
- Provide online and face to face support to transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals of all ages.
- Support is also open to LGBTQ+ individuals and those questioning their sexuality and gender identity of all ages.
- Co-deliver in person and online group sessions to LGBTQ+ individuals.
- Co-facilitate other groups, where needed within the Charity.
- Work and engage with other agencies and attend meetings.
- Work to agreed case load recording, referral, monitoring, and evaluation systems.
- Work to agreed organisational case work standards.
- Contribute to our LGBTQ+ Awareness Training and Educating with Pride as and when requested
