This is an exciting opportunity to lead a group of services at the heart of what we do. As Head of Volunteering and Communities, you will line manage five service managers and oversee:
- Hospital volunteering with East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust (EEC) and East Coast Community Healthcare CIC (ECCH);
- Volunteering for Health (VfH);
- VCSE Sector Support, including volunteer brokerage through our Get Involved platform;
- Empowering Communities;
- Momentum Youth.
You will lead our approach to volunteering across the organisation, make sure our services are safe, high quality and meet the requirements of commissioners and funders, and build strong relationships with NHS partners, funders and VCSE organisations. You will also act as our Caldicott Guardian and play a key part in delivering our new three-year strategy. That includes developing partnerships, diversifying income and embedding a Lean way of working.
