The Role:

We are seeking a personable, results-driven and organised individual to join our team as a Debt Caseworker in the Great Yarmouth or Breckland area.

You will provide a comprehensive assessment and advice service on all debt-related matters to our diverse clients, addressing potentially complex issues. The role entails ongoing casework aimed at achieving the most optimal financial outcomes for our clients.

What we are looking for:

We will provide full training.

However, we will favour applicants who demonstrate the following experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding and application of equality, diversity and inclusion principles in accredited advice provision
  • Ability to recognise safeguarding concerns and facilitate appropriate referrals
  • Proficiency in addressing various advice issues, particularly in welfare benefits (including Universal Credit), Debt, Housing and Employment
  • Strong IT skills to support clients in accessing information using IT systems
  • Prior experience as an accredited adviser in a similar work environment
  • Experience in supporting volunteers
