Your Own Place CIC, a Norfolk-based homelessness prevention social enterprise is seeking a new CEO.  Opportunities such as this don’t come around very often.

You will be supported by an incredible team, a Board of Non-Executive Directors, and have access to a professional coach.

You will bring new skills and strengths, vision, personality and drive to a ten-year-old award-winning social enterprise.

You will act as the principal ambassador for Your Own Place both within and outside the

organisation. You will demonstrate commitment to the mission and vision, developing as

well as maintaining positive values-based relationships with all partners to secure these

aims and objectives. You will lead, with solutions and positivity. You will raise the business’s

profile and maximise its reach. You will always lead by example, instilling a culture of

professionalism, quality, impact and inclusion, supported by coaching, training,

development and the Board.

You will work closely, over the annual cycle, with the Chair, the Board of Non-Executive

Directors, the team, our trainees and all our stakeholders to shape and consult on Your Own

Place’s strategy. This will be backed by sound income generation and forecast and align in

achieving the strategic mission and vision. You are responsible for leading its

implementation and the delivery of the operational plan. You will identify and assess

strategic risks, issues, and opportunities. You will oversee the management of partnerships

with our partners, customers and investors, including nurturing and finding new partners as well as maintaining good working relations with pre-existing partnerships.

You will receive 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) rising to a maximum of 30 pro rata

You will need to be have access to a car
