Assist is recruiting!

“At Assist you feel valued, respected and your hard work is noticed”

Staff member response in annual staff survey, September 2025

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and compassionate people who can support adults with learning disabilities by helping them build their confidence and by treating them respectfully as fellow citizens.

Keyworkers help individuals to put together their own Outcome Plans, so that they can continue to make progress towards their own goals and aspirations – while gradually taking on more responsibility and learning how to manage real life expectations.

Successful applicants will undertake an enhanced DBS check.

If you are interested in a position at Assist please email office@assist-trust.co.uk for an electronic application pack, full job description and person specification, detailing “Keyworker post” or “Life Skills Tutor post” in the subject box as appropriate.

Alternatively you can request a paper copy of the application pack by calling 01603 230200.

If you would like to discuss these opportunities informally, please contact the CEO Richard Ward or Head of Services Lucy Graver, on 01603 230200.
