About the organisation: The Matthew Project is a value driven charity working across East Anglia giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, of any faith or none.
About the role: We are looking for an experienced professional to support children and young people under the age of 19 affected by the substance misuse of others. You will need experience of working directly with children and young people, have a relevant qualification or experience and an understanding of the issues facing young people in relation to someone else’s drug and alcohol use. This post involves working with young people in universal, targeted and specialist settings and will include the identification, engagement, screening and assessment of young people.
The role will require the successful candidate to undertake an enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment.
