The Magdalene Group has been supporting sex workers and women who have experienced exploitation and coercion for 25 years and we have a track record of building trusted relationships with some of the most marginalised women.

Women experiencing multiple disadvantage, sexual violence and abuse can face many barriers to accessing support often due to stigma and prejudice and lack of understanding of the impact of trauma. Our expertise makes us well-placed to provide gender-responsive and trauma-informed services to enable support for women facing these intersecting issues.

We are seeking to employ a Women’s Outreach and Inclusion Practitioner to provide gender and trauma-informed support to women experiencing multiple disadvantage and specialist support to female sex workers and victims of sexual exploitation and coercion.

The post-holder will be based within the Doorway Women’s Service.

The post-holder will engage with women through outreach and intensive one-to-one support.  The post-holder will raise awareness with partner agencies ensuring women have access to specialist support from a range of services.
