We are looking for a dynamic member to join our Carers Matter Norfolk (Young Carers & Families) Advice Line Team.
This exciting programme aims to empower, support and improve the quality of life of young carers in Norfolk, helping them to achieve their full potential.
The purpose of the role is to deliver high quality support and assessment to all young carers and their families who are referred to our service. You will lead on completing initial triage and assessments that are comprehensive and holistic, while providing any immediate information and support. Where longer term support is needed you will refer further into the service to either the Community Support Team or one of our local delivery partners throughout Norfolk. You will be providing support in a way that is approachable, flexible and caring, showing empathy at all times over the phone and through email.
You will be passionate about people and delivering high quality support, you should have strong administrative experience with excellent IT skills (including Word, Excel and CRMs.) You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, being confident using the phone and digital channels to communicate. You will need to ensure that all services are delivered within a strong safeguarding framework and Equality & Diversity Framework
