The Job – Within this role you will deliver and facilitate two, 8 week cycle support groups per week in the morning and evening for people that have been bereaved or affected by suicide within the Norwich & Central Norfolk Mind catchment area. These groups will be based in Norwich and around central Norfolk. The groups will give people the opportunity to meet others who have lost someone to suicide and share their experience and feelings within a safe and supportive environment.
You will also be responsible for delivery suicide prevention work and training in central Norfolk if required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, kind and empathic individual for three days a week. We require an experienced individual to facilitate group sessions. The successful applicant will be required to support group attendees with their mental and physical well-being, and provide crisis interventions if required.
