The Job – Within this role you will deliver and facilitate two, 8-week cycle support groups per week in the morning and evenings for people that have been bereaved or affected by suicide within the Norfolk and Waveney area. These groups will be based in and around North Norfolk. The groups will give people the opportunity to meet others who have lost someone to suicide and share their experiences and feelings within a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
You will also be responsible for delivery of suicide prevention work and training in and around North Norfolk if required. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, kind and empathic individual for three days a week. We require an experienced individual to facilitate group sessions.
The successful applicant will be required to support group attendees with their mental wellbeing, and provide crisis interventions if required.
Interviews will be held on 30 October and 1 November.
