We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Better Together Norfolk Team in the following full-time position: Service Manager – Better Together Norfolk
A partnership led by Voluntary Norfolk to deliver a major service to combat loneliness and social isolation affecting all populations and communities we want to support. The role of Service Manager is critical in leading the service, shaping direction and managing the team. Working in conjunction with the Head of Support and the Director of Operations to ensure the ambitions of the service and our commissioners are achieved guaranteeing we make a real difference to the lives of people of all ages experiencing loneliness and social isolation and support them to become better connected to their communities.
Delivering outreach, one to one Life Connector support, peer support, befriending, as well as other forms of online and integrated support, and the service is comprehensive and innovative in its approach. The role is both challenging but rewarding, with the line management responsibility for the team including managing the Life Connector Co-ordinator and the Volunteer Trainer with support from Head of Support and the Operations Director to lead and develop the service.
