We have a vacancy for Senior Support Worker to join our resettlement team supporting the homeless in Norwich and Norfolk.
The role includes working with the local treatment and recovery service to offer home detox at one of the properties and will require some overnight work during the clinical detoxification.
Part of this service offers a ‘dry house’ in one of our properties in Norwich and the role will have direct responsibility for the assessment and support of each resident accommodated in the Bracondales Project and liaise with all persons identified as appropriate to the support of each individual. Ensuring that the administrative procedures are properly completed, including tenant benefit entitlements
We are looking for someone that is confident, adaptable, and conscientious, have empathy with our service users and the determination to make a difference. You will need at least 2 years’ experience of working with people with substance misuse and mental health issues.
Ability and willingness to be flexible and work unsociable hours, including some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
