About us and the role
At MAP, we are advisers, counsellors, youth workers and other professionals working together to provide the best support we can to young people aged 11-25, in a way that works for them.
MAP is looking for a Senior Participation Youth Worker to work on the Breckland Youth Advisory Board with experience of youth participation and youth voice. The successful candidate should be passionate about this topic and confident in exploring these issues with young people and professionals. Experience of participation youth work and supporting young people to take action is required together with experience of networking, community organising, working on campaigning, lobbying and social movements.
This role will support young people to lead on new community campaigns, and support youth involvement that creates social change and ensures the voices of young people are heard. The role will involve a mix of online youth work and face to face work depending on Covid restrictions.

Team & Manager: Youth Work Team, reports to Head of Youth Work.
