The Opportunity – Norfolk and Waveney mind are excited to be developing a brand new support service in Thetford and the surrounding area. Working within the CHIME framework, Rest in the Community will deliver not only hub based support, advise and recovery focused workshops but will also work in and with the surrounding areas and community to give support, advice and workshops to those that can’t reach us.
The Role – We are currently looking for experienced individuals to join an exciting and innovative team to provide psychologically-informed, recovery focused support to people with mental health and complex needs.
With your skills, previous knowledge and our training and support you will support people accessing the service to manage their mental health, improve their physical health and learn essential daily living skills to build support networks and engage with specialist services. Together we will help those that access the service to live their lives, their way and provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience.
The role will require you to work flexibly and remotely, including local travel within the service locality and, where appropriate, working within wider localities across Norfolk and Waveney to support the demand and capacity requirements of other services, therefore you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
The Organisation – With mental health being higher on the public agenda than ever before there has never been a better time to show your commitment to better mental health for everyone. By working for Norfolk and Waveney Mind you are showing that you are passionate about breaking down the stigma around mental health, ensuring nobody with a mental health problem has to cope alone by providing services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
On successful interview with one of our team and a full on-boarding you will receive comprehensive initial training and ongoing training and development as you make your way into your role at Norfolk and Waveney Mind.
All our staff have access to our comprehensive benefits package. Details of what we offer can be found here:
