Headway Norfolk and Waveney supports adults with acquired brain injury and those affected by conditions such as stroke and encephalitis to come to terms with their new circumstances, re-integrate into family and community life, and maximize their opportunities, choices and independence.
We have a vacancies available for part time Rehabilitation Support Workers in Norwich. This is a varied role working as part of the Norwich team providing person centred day opportunities for people with acquired brain injury through group support, purposeful centre based activites and one to one outreach work in the community.
Mentor support, and specialist training will be given.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out a range of duties including delivering person centred activities to meet client’s rehabilitation aims, providing personal care support and running the busy centre day to day. You must be able to travel to various locations in Norfolk and to people’s homes to suit the needs of the business.
