We are looking for a Tutor to run our Photography, Film and Graphic Design project for adults with learning disabilities.

Stepping Stones is a small, vibrant charity for adults with moderate learning disabilities, based in Norwich.  Our aim is to enrich lives by building skills, independence and making informed choices. We think it’s important for everyone to be able to take part in and make a contribution to the world around them, so working in a person centered way, we build life and social skills through 4 main subject areas – art & craft, cooking, horticulture and graphic design.   We are based at our resource centre in north Norwich, with our allotment and domestic skills centre a short walk away.

We love to make food together, cooking with the fresh fruit and veg we grow nearby. We produce all kinds of crafts, often using things other people throw away. We’re big on photography and video too. We really enjoy meeting people and in the last few years have been getting more active in our local area. We like finding ways to meet new people, share experiences and create chances for people to learn from each other.

You would be supporting small groups of adult students (currently aged between 18 and 47) in all aspects of running a Photography, Film and Graphic Design project and undertaking other design activities.  Enthusiasm and flexibility, along with a willingness to take part in and support other areas of our work is essential.

The position is part-time over 3 days – 19.5 hours.   £9582.30 to £9896.64 per annum (£18,427.50 to £19,032.00 pro rata).
