Our aim is for all adults with learning disabilities in Norfolk to be confident individuals, controlling their own lives and making their own decisions with support from people they trust.

About the role

The LGBT+ Support Adviser will support people with learning disabilities and autism who are LGBT+ to be themselves and lead confident lives. In this role you will support people who are LGBT+ to run their own support group online and in person. You will work alongside people supporting them to take part in groups and activities and create resources.

The LGBT+ Support Adviser will support self advocates to challenge prejudice and the barriers LGBT+ people face.

The LGBT+ Support Adviser will need to hold a full driving licence/travel independently and the post will be subject to a DBS check.
