The Head of Finance’s role is to manage the organisation’s finances and financial systems and prepare reports to the Board, funders and statutory bodies. The Head of Finance works closely with the General Manager and the Finance Committee of the Board.
We are looking for someone who will ideally have experience of working at a senior level in business and financial planning; managing a small team; managing multiple funding contracts and of the accounting and governance requirements of a charity and a limited company. They will enjoy having a financial overview of the organisation as well as an eye for detail and a systematic and orderly approach.
The Festival programme is multi-artform, contemporary, international and audience-centred. The Festival is distinctive because we collaborate with artists – from down the road and around the world – to explore the unique physical and cultural identities of our place and to make art which is meaningful to the lives of our audiences.
This vacancy offers the opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a major creative arts organisation at an exciting time in its long history.
This is an exciting time to join us as in 2022 we celebrate our 250th anniversary. We are also continuing to work to extend our reach and influence year-round across East England through projects and initiatives, such as Festival Bridge, Norfolk Open Studios and Common Ground.
