Background Information

Sue Lambert Trust provides kind, safe, and supportive help for people who have experienced sexual abuse or violence. Our mission is to offer free specialist support that enables survivors to recover, heal, and build resilience for the future. Our services follow a comprehensive, trauma informed approach across three key phases:

Phase One: Groundwork – Supports clients with practical issues and stabilization in preparation for counselling, assisting around 200 clients annually.

Phase Two: Counselling – Our core service, delivered by over 50 trained volunteer counsellors, supporting approximately 250 clients weekly.

Phase Three: Resilience Building – Includes self-help groups and other interventions to foster long term resilience.

Funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners Office, Ministry of Justice, National Lottery, and several trusts and foundations, we aim to expand our public fundraising efforts to ensure sustainability and extend our support to more individuals in need.

Job Purpose

As the Fundraising Manager, reporting to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts to new heights. You will develop and implement creative, inspiring fundraising campaigns that resonate with our cause, ensuring we meet our ambitious annual fundraising targets. You will build a strong, sustainable supporter base and deliver exceptional donor stewardship while maintaining legal and ethical standards.
