We are seeking a dynamic and creative Director of People with substantial experience of organisational development to join our senior team. This is a new role with considerable scope, support and profile to make a significant impact and achieve transformational change.

In an increasingly competitive and challenging environment how we recruit, retain and develop our people has never been more important.  In recognition of that and the need for a heightened strategic focus on organisational and work design, Voluntary Norfolk is looking for a Director of People.

We have a growing need and desire to support our people to thrive and enable them to drive quality and performance across all that we do within the rapidly evolving and challenging environment the voluntary sector is facing.

Our Director of People will develop and champion our values and cultures as we look to develop our recruitment, retention and career paths to enable the organisation to respond in an agile way to rapid change.  As we emerge from the pandemic, we are looking to explore new ways of working that build cohesion and support creativity, whilst giving our people the flexibility they have come to value and the Director of People will lead on this work.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of People will be responsible for developing our People Strategy and ensuring that our people, both paid and volunteers, lie at the heart of a high performing, agile and engaged workforce.
