Thornage Hall Independent Living provides supported living accommodation in 5 houses located in the beautiful surroundings of the Thornage Hall estate.
We run a biodynamic farm which provides food for those living in our houses, as well as sales to local organic outlets. We have built on the success of the farm and have converted farm buildings into studios for our Day Services offering a range of craft, IT and artistic activity – greatly enriching the lives of those people with learning disabilities who have a thirst to develop new skills within a working environment.
We now have a temporary vacancy in Day Services for an assistant. You will take the lead on ensuring our day service provision is kept to a high standard of infection prevention control and cover staff absence to provide additional support if required within our workshops. You will sign our day service users in and out each day, and ensure we follow our Safe Systems of Work.
Ideally you should have some experience of working with vulnerable adults, but training will be given.
Successful applicants must undergo a DBS check.
