We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Support Worker (Care) to join our Marion team to provide support to older people, their carers and families.
We are looking for experienced carers who are looking for something a little different. We offer a flexible range of carers support, including welfare visits, training and advice on care techniques, coaching for physical activity, as well as case managing and resolving issues that impact the carer, or their loved one. This role is about understanding the needs of the family and supporting them in caring for their loved one, at home, for as long as possible.
Services are provided through a mixture of telephone, online and home visits, as well as group-based sessional care at our Marion Day Centre, which would include some personal care duties, so we are looking for someone with recent experience in this area. (Personal care is strictly limited to the Day Centre only. Candidates will not be required to do this within client’s homes or community settings.)
This is a fixed term contract until March 2021; therefore, we want someone who can hit the ground running, is proactive, highly organised, and comfortable with IT and remote working.
