We are looking for a new member of staff to join our Carers Matter Norfolk Community Support Team in the following position: Carer Connector – 30 hours a week post

We are looking for dynamic and outgoing people with experience of providing 1:1 support within Carers Matter Norfolk, an innovative carer-led all-age support service for unpaid carers and their families

Carer Connectors work to a whole-family person-centred model, supporting and empowering unpaid carers to achieve the greatest degree of choice and control, independence, and quality of life as possible. Connectors equip with tools and strategies to help them self-advocate and develop greater resilience and, linking them to personal & community resources

Post is offered until 30th September 2020 (with potential for further two year extension to September 2022)

Located at Broadland Early Help Hub, Broadland District Council Offices, Thorpe Lodge, 1 Yarmouth Road, Norwich NR7 0DU and occasional outreach to Norwich Early Help Hub, City Hall
